Cocoa Coffee

Recipe #263366 | 11 min | 1 min prep | add private note

By: Amanda Beth

This is so simple and so good. There are lots of fancied-up versions of this out there, but this is how I make mine. The kids like it too. I know, kids shouldn't have coffee....but if I want any peace, they get theirs too! The coffee amount depends on the size of your mug. I also brew my coffee kind of strong, but use your normal coffee. The cook time is time to brew your coffee. Enjoy!

I have a sore throat and I can hardly talk this morning. I wanted something warm and different and this caught my eye. I used fat -free hot chocolate (I can imagine how good it would be with the real thing) and no extra sugar or sugar substitute. It's great. Thanks!

We call this cadillac coffee, because it is so rich. We do not put in the sugar just a hot cocoa packet then instead of water we use the coffee and sometimes add a little cream. Very nice! Shirl

I'm sipping a cup of this cocoa coffe I as I write this. I always find plain cocoa to be too sweet, and this cuts the sweetness just right. I added a teaspoon of powdered creamer. I omitted the sugar because my cocoa is sweetened. Thanks for sharing, I'm sure I will drink this often.
