I can't believe how simple and yet Soooo good this recipe is. My kids aren't big fan of any nuts but they ate these when i made them. They did however asked if I can add a tiny bit more sugar. Simple and yet sooo yummy and good for you treat anytime of the day. Thank You!

From now on, I intend having a small container of these in my bag at all times for instant energy bursts when I need them, particularly when yet another tedious meeting drags on and on. These are delicious and so VERY quick and easy to make. Sassy is not to my taste, so I omitted the cayenne pepper, but otherwise followed the recipe exactly. I used macadamias and cashews and cranberries: a great combination! I look forward to making these again and varying the nuts. As other reviewers have commented, these would make great and very welcome gifts, at any time of the year. They are also ideal for taking to shared morning teas. Thank you, Brooke, for sharing this gem.

Your right Brooke,,,these will make an excellent gift at Christmas. So simple too. I"ll be definitely making these again and again. The guys love them for the cayenne pepper. I wasn't sure they'd like the cranberries (I used craisins, but they didn't say a word.) thanks for sharing~

This was a great recipe to use up those half packets of nuts left over from other recipes. I used craisins (marketed as dried cranberries here) and I felt they gave a soft sweet texture to crisp crunchy bite of the nuts (I used, pecans, macadamias, hazlenuts, walnuts, cashews and peanuts). Personally I felt it could have done with just a touch more sass but the heat was subtle without being overpowering and powing you out, I would up the cayenne to 1 teaspoon, TAKE IT BACK 10 HOURS LATER AFTER MAKING AND THE SASS IS THERE WOW GREAT LEAVE AS IS. Took some to DS's recreation group for the staff to try and get an opinion other than my own and they were the same for those who preferred them sweet they loved them at first and for those that love the sass well they loved them even more when that kicked in. Thank you Brooke the Cook in W1. Made for Please Review My Recipe.
