great no bake cookies

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • dash salt
  • cups quick oat
  • tablespoons cocoa
  • cup nuts, chopped
  • teaspoon vanilla
  • Directions

    1. 1
      Combine butter, sugar, milk, and salt in pan.
    2. 2
      Bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute.
    3. 3
      Put oats, cocoa, nuts, and vanilla in bowl.
    4. 4
      Pour butter mixture over dry mixture.
    5. 5
      Mix well and drop onto waxed paper.

    A perfect healthy quick cookie! I reduced margarine a little and added almonds. It took me 10 minutes to make and now I have my breakfast ready for these days. Thanks for sharing!

    These aer great. I halved the recipe, used half splenda and half sugar as well. the one mistake i made was using regular oats. Since they are no bake its better to use quick cook or else its a little denser. Still yummy though
