Yummy Chicken

Recipe #260972 | 1¼ hours | 15 min prep | SERVES 6 (Change Servings)

RECIPE BY: Canadian Cookie

At our house, we go crazy for this dish. Serve this with garlic mashed potatoes and you'll think you've died and gone to heaven. I sometimes double the sauce... Enjoy!

This is great, even the picky kids ate it, although they picked off the mushrooms!!! Only thing I did differently is that I used boneless, skinless chicken breast.

I added a bit more mushrooms. It's delicious. Thanks Canadian Cookie Made for 123 hit wonders.

Wow so good! I've made this twice now - once with sweetened applejuice and again with unsweetened. The unsweetened was way better - I'd cut the sugar out if I made with sweetened again.... thanks for the great recipe!

I saw the ingredients and knew this had to be fabulous (I'm a great fan of thyme)--and I was right! I bought 3 chicken breasts with skin on--which I rarely get--and threw in a leftover skinless breast and it was delicious both ways. I did add just a bit more thyme than it says and doubled the mushrooms.
