The cold butter is the secret. It's not included in other copy cat recipes.

9 biscuits (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Brush on top

Directions

  1. 1
    Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. 2
Combine Bisquick and cold butter. Don't combine too thoroughly. There should be small chunks of butter about the size of peas.
  3. 3
Add cheddar, milk and 1/4 tsp garlic.
  4. 4
Mix by hand until combined, but don't over mix.
  5. 5
Drop 9 equal portions onto greased cookie sheet.
  6. 6
Bake for 15-17 minutes or until tops are light brown.
  7. 7
Melt 2 tbsp butter in a bowl. Stir in 1/2 tsp garlic powder and parsley flakes.
  8. 8
Use a pastry brush to spread garlic butter over tops of biscuits.

These were wonderful! I made them in 5 min and everyone loved them. They were as good as red lobster! I was able to make 12. These were just perfect. I will make them many more times, I'm sure!

I made these for me and my family. These taste exactly like the red lobster ones. I followed the recipe exactly and didn't change a thing. Absolutely perfect.

Sorry - 5 stars is NOT enough for these biscuits!! My husband went crazy over them and even asked for more just 2 days after I made them. I needed to pile a bigger amount on the cookie sheet as mine weren't as tall as they probably should have been. They still tasted great! NO CHANGES AT ALL!!! Thanks!

I just joined this site today with the sole purpose of finding this recipe and I am so glad I did!! It was AMAZING and did taste just like Red Lobster's! I am positive the cold butter in the mix makes a difference from other recipes! My kids absolutely went crazy for them! As much as I love to cook, I didn't have a pastry brush to brush the butter on the biscuits so instead of melting it, I combined the ingredients and used a knife to spread it on after they were out of the oven. Thanks!!!
