whats not to love.. scallops are one of my favorites!! i ended up cooking them on the bbq cuz my bf prefers them that way. i served the brie sauce on the side for dipping...i really liked it but it made much more than we needed...next time i think a quarter of the sauce recipe will do. i am going to try to tweak it so that i can use it as a dip for a wine & cheese party i'm having this weekend. thanks! zwt4!

This is a fabulous dish! I made it as an appetizer using canadian bacon instead of regular bacon. I used a 1/2 tsp more olive oil instead of the drippings. Had a bit of a time getting my breadcrumbs to stick to the scallops as I always pat them very dry before cooking. This sauce is over the top, special occasion fare. They were served with Herbed Focaccia Bread, a salad and Fire Baked Bananas. Wonderful splurge meal! Made for ZWT 4.
