    Preheat oven to 375°F.

    Toast pine nuts in a shallow baking pan in oven 3 to 5 minutes, shaking pan frequently.
  3. 3
    Place green beans in a steamer basket over boiling water in a saucepan and steam 7 to 8 minutes or until tender.
  4. 4
    Transfer green beans to a serving dish.
  5. 5
    Toss with lemon juice, pine nuts and salt and pepper to taste.

Very easy & great way to dress up the ol' bean! Only change I made was to use lemon pepper instead of the usual S&P! Thanks for a great recipe! [Tagged, made & reviewed for a teammate in my vegan group in the Vegetarian/Vegan Recipe Swap]

    I love anything w/pine-nuts and so I knew tagging this would be a winner. Bought fresh green-beans from the farmers market to make it x-tra good. Wonderful. TY Dreamer! Made for NewZaarTag~

    I made this with our New Year's Day dinner and it was a great side dish. I usually make green beans with almonds, but the pine nuts were a nice change! A great, good-for-you dish. Thanks for sharing!

    I enjoyed the pine nuts in this side dish. It was the first time for the younger children and they made some pretty funny faces eating the pine nuts. This was very fast to make. Made for 1 2 3 Hit Wonders game 2007
