Grandma Hedden's Fresh Strawberry Dessert

Who doesn't love a nutty crust filled with cheesecake-like middle topped with fresh strawberries? YUM!!!!
SERVES 12
Ingredients
Crust
Filling
- 12 ounces Cool Whip
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 2 cups powdered sugar
Topping
- 1 (14 ounce) package strawberry glaze
- fresh strawberry, cut in half
Directions

Preheat oven to 350. Melt butter in a 10x10 baking dish in the microwave. Mix flour and nuts with butter and press firmly in the bottom of pan. Bake until light brown. Let fully cool. In a large bowl mix cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Add cool whip. Spread over cooled crust. Press strawberries on top flat side down to cover cream cheese mixture. Spread strawberry glaze on top. Refridgerate for at least an hour and enjoy!

Easy, kid friendly, cream cheese and strawberries... what is not to like?! I made this for spring 2008 PAC and wasn't dissappointed. I made it again in a store bought graham cracker crust. Turned out great as well. Thanks Grandma and Momma!
