I echo what everyone says. This is tasty and a unique presentation on an American summer standard dessert. It was nice to have it all ready to go so all that was needed to serve it was scoop it into bowls. Very Good!!

I am really drawn to unique recipes so this one definitely caught my eye!! I used a 10oz cake because that's all I could find & I used a 1 litre tub of Cool Whip (I'm in Canada & didn't know if I should have used the 500ml or 1 litre size???). Great rich flavour!! Next time I make this, I'll use an 8" square pan & cut into 9 servings - cutting into 12 servings seemed a little chintzy to me.

Received rave reviews from everyone! I suggest using more than one quart of strawberries. This is my favorite shortcake recipe and will make from now on!

What a great summertime dessert! Had a request from everyone to make it again soon. It's great because it can be made ahead of time and I can remember all of the ingredients when I go to the store- thanks for the recipe!
