Simple and tasty side dish.

SERVES 4 (change servings and units)

Directions

    Sauté mushrooms and onion in butter, stirring constantly, until lightly browned.
  2. 2
    Stir in rest of ingredients and simmer over medium low heat long enough to heat through and thicken a bit, but do not allow to come to a boil.

I tried this and liked it. What I changed was added a bit of Worcestershire sauce to make it taste a bit like a stroganoff. It was very good. We served over noodles.

    My picky DH, not very Finnish, loved these mushrooms! I added a tablespoon of cornstarch with a little bit of cold water to thicken it a bit. Thanks, Echo Echo! Made for 123 Hit Wonders.

    Newest Zaar Tag 2007 ~ These were awesome! I can't believe that no one has tried these yet. The one thing that I did do different was I cooked the onions first (then added the mushrooms) as they would not have been cooked at all doing it as directed. Thanks echo echo!
