Here's another recipe I found on Allrecipes.com. It was submitted by Joslyn H. She stated: "This Creole seasoning blend is great for seasoning rice, meats, soups and stews, or anything that needs a flavor boost. Also makes a great gift when placed in a decorative jar with recipe attached." I'll be making up a batch of this soon. It looks like a very good blend of spices.

1 1/4 cups (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
In a small bowl, combine onion powder, garlic powder, oregano, basil, thyme, black pepper, white pepper, cayenne pepper, paprika and salt.
  2. 2
    Store in an airtight container.

I was making Pan-Fried Pork Chops With Onions and knew I needed a creole seasoning ( never bought the stuff before ), so I did a "ZAAR" search and saw this one. And I have to say, "Boy did it fit the bill". I don't like really spicy or hot foods and this was perfect for me.This worked so well, for the recipe I needed it for. This will be used time and time again.Thank you so much for posting and, "Keep Smiling "

We used this to season ground beef for burgers, and they were the best burgers I've ever had. My Cajun husband who is addicted to Tony Cachere's gave this five stars. Thank you!
