Try other Custard Squares recipes

I too adore custard so I had to try this. I used good quality boiled custard (Birds) and it just didn't have any staying power, it turned watery after a few hours. I think I will make this again and try more custard powder. Because otherwise the flavor was good.

Bert I have to confess that I am not a dessert person but I am partial to custard sooooo as luck would have it I spotted your recipe. Excellent, easy and very tasty. Everyone enjoyed it. Just as you said in your instructions I think it is important to use boiled custard not instant. I had everything ready in the morning and put it together just before serving. I'll make this again and again Thanks bert
