When it comes to blueberry oat squares. These are by far the world's greatest. Even if they were cut in triangles, they'd still get 5 stars. Seriously though, they are good.

These were great! I love blueberries, so I may try making them with double the filling next time. The consistancy was really good as is, though. Thanks for the recipe. I'm sure I will make these often.

I took these to work today and they were a great hit. The blueberries were from the farmer's market and as fresh as they come. I did find I needed to use quite a bit more water for the blueberry filling (more like 1/2 to 2/3 C) to acquire a mixture that wasn't glue-like. What people especially liked was the pop of the blueberries when the bars are eaten. The very brief cooking time on the stovetop was key to that terrific "mouthfeel." I recommend these highly!
