I had never even heard of Tapenade, but my nine year old daughter said they mentioned it on the Disney Channel (of all places) and wanted to know what it was. We found this recipe. She loves olives and could easily make this herself. We both loved it. I read the reviews and used only half the salt. I also halved the olive oil, personal preference. This will be perfect for my many vegetarian dinner guests. Thank you!

Good, but way too salty. Maybe regular salt is the way to go.

This is a very TASTY and EASY tapenade! The only problem I had was that it turned out too salty...I used coarse ground kosher salt thinking that would be better than fine ground sea salt but it was overpowering...I think I may try it again with sea salt added a little at a time to taste. We enjoyed this with fresh baked Italian cheese bread. Made for the Holiday tag game. Freddy Cat says hi!
