My mom helped me post this recipe. These candies are like Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and are fun for kids to make because you don't have to cook them. My mom and I made these together.

30 pieces (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Stir together powdered sugar, peanut butter and butter until well mixed.
  2. 2
Shape peanut butter mixture into 1 inch balls, placing them on a baking sheet covered with waxed paper.
  3. 3
Let balls stand for 20 minutes until dry.
  4. 4
Melt the dipping chocolate or confectioners' coating.
  5. 5
Drop balls one at a time in melted chocolate.
  6. 6
Using a fork, remove from the chocolate, letting excess chocolate drip off.
  7. 7
Place back on the waxed paper.
  8. 8
    Let stand until dry.
  9. 9
Store tightly covered in a cool dry place.

These were a HUGE hit at a baby shower I hosted this weekend! Kids and adults alike were eating these up and when they were gone, people were asking me if there were more. They really are difficult to make - I had to keep putting them back in the fridge when they softened up. Next time, I'll take the advice of others and freeze them before dipping. Served them along side Oreo Balls, which are normally the hit of my candy trays. I will definitely be making these over and over! Thank you Ali!

Wow!! These are wonderful! I can't believe how easy they are. I used creamy peanut butter, and dipped them in semi-sweet and milk chocolate. That way everybody got their favorite.I put them on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper to set. So easy and so good. Thanks for a great recipe. It will get a lot of use!

These were very good! I'm really glad that I tried them! I had to use crunchy peanut butter as that is all that I had on hand. I used milk chocolate for the dipping and sprinkled some with some icing sugar for an added effect. Very tasty!! Thanks for posting! - Christina
