Reuben Meatballs

Recipe #217981 | 28 min | 8 min prep | add private note

These meatballs taste just like a Reuben! With a little tweaking it could also be made into a meatloaf. You can also substitute another kind of cheese if you are not a fan of swiss. Also, if you are doing low carb, you can sub parmesan cheese for the bread crumbs.

These DO taste like reubens! We really enjoyed them! I did sub provolone for the swiss because it's what I had on hand, and I used Miller's Smoky Thousand Island Dressing for the thousand island dressing! I discovered that I don't really like caraway seeds, so I would cut back or drop them from the recipe if I made these for myself, but otherwise I really enjoyed this and DH loved the caraway seeds. We served them on hoagie buns topped with extra sauerkraut and thousand island! Thanks!
