Maple Krispie Cookies

Quick, easy and delicious! The dough is crumbly, but I use a disher or scoop to form drop cookies and that helped to form the balls. The cookies are really good to have been so easy to make. They are fabulous!

These are a great easy to make cake mix cookie. We really like them and for ease I will give them five stars.

Made these a while back to give as Christmas gifts and am only getting around to reviewing now. This is an extremely simple yet totally awesome recipe. JUST DONT EAT THEM RIGHT AWAY! I gave my mom a cookie to sample when they were fresh out of the oven and her comment was that the cookies were "so-so". However, that night my mom samples another and declared that they were delicious. Much tastier and crispier than fresh out of the oven. Im sure the people on my Xmas list will be thrilled to be receiving these little gems. Thanks for a great, quick recipe.

I've tried cake mix cookies before, but they just tasted like cookie-shaped cake. These are great. I think the Rice Krispies give it a special touch. I also used 2 tsp of maple, but it's hard to taste it after all the sugar from the cake mix. No problem for those of us w/a chronic sweet tooth. I agree that it's easy to overcook these, but when they're crispy they just melt in your mouth. I liked that I could whip these up fast, and then cram them all on to 1 big cookie sheet to cook all at once. They weren't all evenly cooked, and they did touch sides, but they came apart fine and I like having chewy and crispy all from the same batch, LOL! These are a great last-minute dessert because of their fast prep. Thanks, MizzNezz, for another winner!
