Hot Cocoa Mix

There is no powdered coffee creamer in this mix; the white chocolate chips give it the creaminess. Try using peanut butter or butterscotch chips for something different or add a couple of tablespoons of instant coffee for a mocha flavour.

I made this earlier today and it was awesome! I really enjoy Hot Cocoa and this one will be a keeper for me. I made it with water and then again with milk. They were both very good. The white chocolate makes the mix taste very creamy, just like it said in the description. I added a bit more sugar to my cup, but all in all a very good recipe. Thanks.

This was great. I stopped buying instant cocoa packets/mixes about 2 years ago. Since then we've been using just powdered cocoa with sugar in a cup, stir with milk and/or water. But this is much better and very quick to make. I made a half recipe and we had some for Father's Day this morning. I heated up milk, as directed, although I wondered that milk was really necessary with the dry non-fat milk in the mix. Next time I think I will try heating water in the kettle on the stovetop and doing about 2/3 water and topping it off with cold milk to bring to drinking temp (which is what we usually do in our house). Thanks. Will definitely make again. Half recipe made exactly two cups, as stated in the yield. Perfect.

My 7 year old DS said to give this 10 stars. He loved it! I used skim milk and it was still fairly creamy, though next time I'll make it with whole milk. This is a quick and yummy recipe. Would be a nice mix to give wrapped in a mug for co-workers or teachers.
