This was a wonderful early fall treat. We have a shellfish allergy in our house so I did skip the seafood, but it was still deliscious. I used leftover chicken from the night before, which made it even easier. Thanks for sharing this wonderful crock pot recipe Tatia!

Made this sans seafood. It came out very tasty, despite a big goof-up on my part. I decided to throw some rice in there before cooking the gumbo. It turned to mush. Definitely better if poured over rice after cooking as opposed to during.
