This recipe got me the Purple Rossette Ribbon actually. Top of all the dried foods at the Nebraska State fair.

SERVES 4 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Syrup to soak fresh

Directions

    Lay apricots so the insides are pointing downward.

    First hour set dehydrator to 120 degrees.
  3. 3
    Then move it up to 135 degrees for 7 more hours.
  4. 4
    Apricots can be chopped up and used in fruitcake or special breads, or as a snack.
