This recipe is Courtesy of the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Services. It is heart healthy. I put 50 servings--truth is I don't have a clue. It would be according to how much you use each time.

Just wondering: I always thought that off-the-shelf chili powder contains large amounts of salt.

    Chili powder might contain large amounts of salt but since the chili powder makes up about 1/50th of the recipe, overall there would be hardly any salt in this recipe.
