This is an excellent use for cabbage and potatoes. We loved this. I, too, used regular cabbage and it was just delicious. I steamed the shredded cabbage in the microwave while the potatoes were cooking. Very creamy and wonderful comfort food. Will definately make again - Thanks!

Nice easy recipe! I reduced amounts to make enough for two servings. I used regular green cabbage and added a few chunks of leftover carrots to the mix. Delicious change from the usual mashed potatoes!
