I made this dish with moose round steak, I added two sticks of chopped celery, and one sliced green bell pepper, and used whole garlic cloves instead of the powder, and canned chopped tomatoes. Very good with garlic mashed potatoes.

Made it for my family after a sucessful Elk hunt last September. They liked it so much I am requested to make it again for Father's Day dinner. Simple to make and very flavorful.

This was a great way to fix elk. I have never cooked it before and was not sure how to! This recipe was quick and I had everything in the pantry, no trips to the store needed. I did add 2 tsp. of onion soup mix and increased the pepper to 1 tsp. Thanks for a tasty recipe.
