Starbucks Ultimate Caramel Macchiato Blended

Recipe #188484 | 5 min | 5 min prep | add private note

Sep 29, 2006

I Love Caramel Macchiato's, and am always playing around with recipes to invent a home made frozen treat that tastes just as good as any Starbucks thats easy to make. I think this one is very good. It is blended with just the right amount of ingredients to make a nice single serve tall frozen Caramel Macchiato Blended

SERVES 1 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
In a blender add your 8 ice cubes first.
  2. 2
Then pour over the ice 1/2 cup of whole milk.
  3. 3
Then add the 1 tablespoon of half & half.
  4. 4
Then ad the 1/4 cup of vanilla ice cream or use a good quality vanilla ice cream.
  5. 5
Then add 2 tablespoons of bottled vanilla syrup. (Not Extract).
  6. 6
2-3 tablespoons of Herhsey's caramel topping.
  7. 7
To get the right brew use 2 1/2 tablespoons of Starbucks espresso coffee packed and leveled to 1/2 cup of water then measure out your 4 tablespoons of brewed coffee. I use a single serve coffee machine with a screen filter to make my brewed espresso.
  8. 8
You can also use this brew formula in a espresso machine.
  9. 9
You can use 4 tablespoons of your hot brewed flavored coffee, pour it over the ice make sure its hot it helps blend the beverage.
  10. 10
Blend on high until ice is crushed.
  11. 11
Pour into a tall glass, garnish with 2 tablespoons of Redi-Whip heavy whipped cream. Drizzle with caramel topping.
  12. 12
Espresso should be used hot, as this makes the blending of the ice even easier and makes it creamier! You can use room temperature espresso also, just use one less ice cube.

This tasted just like Starbucks. I can't wait for summertime so I can enjoy it by the air conditioner.

I made this for hubby and he really enjoyed it. I didn't have the vanilla syrup, so I added in some vanilla extract, more ice cream, and then more caramel topping (4 T. overall) I also used half and half for the whole milk part, too. Thank you for the great recipe! Now we can make them at home!

I don't know what Starbucks' caramel macchiato tastes like, but this is AWESOME! I used my own "espresso" because my husband doesn't like Starbucks coffee. This is a keeper. Thanks for sharing.
