Recipe #187861 | 4¼ hours | 15 min prep | SERVES 36 (Change Servings)

RECIPE BY: Chef~V

These chicken wings really perk up when they're seasoned with a hint of brandy. They are by far the best chicken wings I've ever tasted.

Posted on: Sep 27, 2006

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar (packed)
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce

  • 3 (12 ounce) packages chicken drummettes (the little chicken legs..haha)

Really good wings - very tender. They were sweet, but I didn't think it was too much. I also added some pepper sauce to heat them up a bit. Thanks for posting!

The chicken was very tender. It was really easy to do. I baste it each hour. A bit too sweet for us and I didn't packed the brown sugar. If I do them again, I may omit the brown sugar or reduce the quantity. Thanks V Made for beverage tag.
