Chocolate-Honey Swirl Cake

This cake is easy to make, it's basically a two-bowl cake, one honey batter and one chocolate batter! Make certain that you Coke-Cola is completely flat and the tea is cooled before adding into the batter.

SERVES 12 -14 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

HONEY BATTER

CHOCOLATE BATTER

Directions

    Set oven to 350 degrees.

    Generously grease a 10-inch tube pan.
  3. 3
    For the honey batter; in a bowl mix together all the dry ingredients (up to and including the allspice).

    Using a whisk or electric mixer, blend in the oil, honey, white and brown sugar, eggs, vanilla, cooled tea and orange juice; mix well until smooth; set aside.

    For the chocolate batter; in another large bowl combine flour, cocoa, salt, baking powder and baking soda; using a whisk or electric mixer, blend in white and brown sugars, oil, eggs, vanilla and flat Coke-Cola drink; mix until well blended and smooth.

    Mix in the chocolate chips (if using).

    Pour the honey batter into the prepared tube pan, then top with the chocolate batter.

    Bake for about 55-60 minutes, or until the cake tests done.

    Cool about 10 minutes in pan then remove to a serving plate.

    While the cake is still warm sprinkle with grated chocolate and allow to melt.

This sounds very good, but is not a Passover recipe because it contains flour. Eggs and milk are not restricted for Passover-just levening.
