Recipe #173939 | 3 min | 3 min prep | 1 bottle (Change Servings)

RECIPE BY: Roxi

So, you've bought one of those nifty little squirt bottles of cleaner for your glasses, and now it's empty. Should you spend another small fortune on name brand refills or another bottle full? Absolutely no need. For less than $3 you can have a lifetime supply of refill at your fingertips.

Posted on: Jun 20, 2006

  • ounce isopropyl rubbing alcohol
  • ounces distilled water
  • Directions

Mix together in your squirt bottle. Spray on glasses and rub with your micro fiber glasses polishing cloth. Enjoy the streak free view.
    2. 2
NOTE: The recipe program did not recognize "parts" but this recipe should read 1 part isopropyl alcohol to 2 parts distilled water.

I LOVE this... THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! I bought a 32 oz bottle of ( top care) isopropyl alchohol at my sparten store for $2.09 I made a batch up 1/3 c. of the isopropyl alcohol..2/3 c. water (that I boiled in my microwave) put it in a washed & cleaned 8 oz spray bottle that had held my body spray from bath & body this works as good as the ones you get from the optomitrist MUCH cheaper & I thank you for sharing it..it will be ALL I use for my glasses from now on....

Fantastic recipe. Works exceptionally well. No streaks, when you think about it isn't that what soaps leave behind? Thanks for your ingenuity!
