This is a classic appetizer that is great for last minute unexpected guests. In fact, I'm surprised it's not posted yet! I've made this for years. The sweet and hot taste on crackers is so wonderful!

SERVES 6 -8 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Open the brick of cream cheese and place it on a plate.
  2. 2
Spread the jelly evenly over the top. Serve with a small knife for spreading or use a hearty cracker that will not break.

I had this at a Super Bowl party several years ago, and occasionally make it for company. I use Keebler's Town House crackers; the flavors go well together. Thanks for sharing.

So simple and wonderful. My guests loved it and were surprised when I said how to make it.

Love this combination. I could easily eat the whole thing. I usually microwave the brick of cream cheese on 1/2 power for a minute or so to soften. Our favorite crackers are either Wheat Thins, Triscuits or Water Wafers. When we run out of those, we resort to spoons! Try Easiest Hot Pepper Jelly for the easiest (and inexpensive) pepper jelly! Thanks for posting!

I know, it's almost embarassing! But this is one of my all time fav's & every time I serve it there is never any leftovers! I serve it with Wheat THins, but almost anything will do. Try it-I'm SURE you will like it!!
