This was our first time trying quinoa and we both liked it and it is a nice change from the rice we eat 3-4 times a week. I cut the quinoa down to half a cup, kept the onions and garlic the same as in the full recipe and used half broth and half water. We will definitely be making this again. Thanks for posting!

DH gave this a 5 star. He loves Quinoa. I don't care for it but that's personal preference. He did add some garlic salt. This is easy to prepare. He likes to take it to work as a snack during the day. I also used Quinoa-Toasted before preparing it. This will be a keeper. Thanks Deb for posting.

Wow, this is good! I used the quinoa prep recipe # 16399 - Toasted Qunioa and even made this with straight water, only 1.5 teaspoons of garlic, and it was terrific. It came out perfect, but I will try it again with different broths. I can get my picky omni family to eat this now. Thanks!

This was my first introduction to quinoa. The only change I made was to omit the onions. Turned out that the one I had was bad. We found out that while we like quinoa, the garlic flavour was a little strong in this dish (And I LOVE garlic). Next time, I will cut back about half on the garlic. Part of the problem may have been that I only used water for the liquid. I think I will try a broth next time. This was a GREAT way to try quinoa. Thanks!
