Salmon fillets marinated in Irish whiskey and honey have a glazed look as well as a superb taste and texture. Irish whiskey has a slightly peppery taste. A delicous combination! From Food and Drink. Prep time includes marinating time.

MMMM! Yummy! This was very very nice. The directions were perfect and the timing was right on the money. Our salmon came out perfect. We really enjoy salmon with a hint of sweet. Nice time I might even try addinga little extra honey though it is awesome as is. Fantastic! Thanks Leslie for an awesome top quality meal! zwt 3

To use a good Irish Whiskey in the recipe is no waste, it will turn this salmon recipe into something very special. I was surprised that the whiskey add so much flavour to the salmon. The making is very easy, I followed the recipe as described here without any changes. The salmon was tender and full of the different flavours and as already mentioned with some delicate whiskey notes. I like my salmon more on the raw side. So I grilled it only for 5 minutes. For me this was long enough. Great Thanks for sharing.
