Creamy Nonalcoholic Margaritas

Recipe #167975 | 1¼ hours | 1¼ hours prep | add private note
*Parsley*

By: *Parsley*
May 15, 2006

Kids get a kick out of these. Pour into maragarita glasses w/ sugar or salt around the rim. It's not necessary to partially freeze the yogurt, but it does make it more cool and "slushy." Prep time includes the partial freezing.

SERVES 4 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Place the partially frozen yogurt, soda and lime juice into a blender and process until smooth.
  2. 2
If desired, wet the rims of your margarita glasses and dip into either kosher salt or sugar.
  3. 3
    Pour drink into the glasses.
  4. 4
Garnish w/ lime slices, if desired.

Very nice tasting drink, & something I'll definitely keep around! I used 7-Up this time but want to try it next time during warmer weather using Squirt! Thanks for this great recipe!

I haven't tasted a real msrgarita so I don't know how it compares but we like this little drink. It was easy to prepare and was a nice addition to my Mexican meal of Grilled Steaks (Or Chops) With Chipotle Butter and Mexican Calabacitas. Thanks "Parsley". Bullwinkle

Yum! I really enjoyed these. The smooth creamy lemon flavour and texture has another dimension with the crisp bite of the carbonated sprite. I used source lemon yogurt (ff, artificially sweetened) and diet sprite. Thanks for a great one Parsley!

The kids all enjoyed this but I found it a bit too yogurty. I'll try this again and use a bit less yogurt and a little more lemon-lime beverage. Made for ZWT3...a Toast to the Captains!
