California Bartlett Pear, Ham and Cheese Sandwich

SERVES 4 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

    Lightly toast bread slices.
  2. 2
    Spread a thin layer of honey mustard on all 8 pieces of the bread.
  3. 3
    Top 4 of the slices with the Swiss cheese.
  4. 4
    Place under broiler until the cheese is melted.
  5. 5
    Divide the pears, ham and spinach into fourths.
  6. 6
    Place the pear slices on the melted cheese, then the ham on the pears, and, finally, the spinach on the ham.
  7. 7
    Top with the 4 remaining pieces of bread.
  8. 8
    Slice each sandwich in half and serve immediately.
