This is nice and sweet and great when the strawberries are fresh and juicy. This would make a simple and light yet elegant dessert after a big summer BBQ.From Homemakers May 2006. Prep time includes a half an hour of resting time.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1

BestTeenChef, you obviously have a very good eye for spotting great recipes. I did have to make a couple of changes to the quantities (a combination of not having enough honey and wanting to add extra lemon), but this recipe deserves its stars for the concept alone. I took this on a picnic, so it had plenty of standing time! The juices from the syrup and strawberries mixed together wonderfully. I brought home the left over juice and added it to some homemade ice cream
