This was quite good. I added some coconut shreds and used lemon juice and butter instead of oil - it gave the final product a nicer texture. Also, and this will sound strange, if you melt this mixture over low heat, it tastes really good on crêpes. Hopefully vitamin E is safely edible.

I make a version of this scrub to use in the shower every week. I use about 1/2 c of brown sugar and add just about Tbs or two of turbinado sugar ( just for a little extra exfolitation). I like to add a comination of 2 Tbs of virgin coconut oil, jojoba oil, or sweet almond oil as a carrier oil so the scrub gets nice and moist. I think a TBS of orange essential oil is a little on the heavy side... I usually add maybe at most a tsp... The comination of the brown sugar, virgin coconut oil and orange essential oil is almost good enough to eat! It is a great scrub for the less delicate areas of the body like knees, elbows, heels and feet and of course hands... My BF and I just love it. It is so nice that I packaged it in some nice containers and gave them away for Christmas presents... Thanks for sharing!

Excellent exfoliant, the smell was great, and I already had all of the ingredients on hand. The only change I made was to add a little jasmine oil to make it smell even better. This made my skin feel so much softer and smoother than usual and the best part is that the couple of scars I have are now much less visible. Thanks a bunch, Ev! But, a note of warning for those with really fair skin or living at high altitudes: avoid sunlight for awhile after using this scrub, the orange oil (or any other citrus oil) will make you burn even more easily.

Refreshing, deep cleansing and conditioning! I opted to use essential orange oils and jojoba oil. Thanks!
