I saw this in a magazine and thought I'd post for all the little ones & not so little ones that like nutella!!!! You can use other chocolate hazelnut spreads if you like. These make a nice change from "Fairy Bread" and are ideal for childrens parties or just for a treat.

12 -24 rolls (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Using a rolling pin roll out the bread slices to flatten.
  2. 2
    Spread each slice with nutella.
  3. 3
Sprinkle over the hundreds & thousands.
  4. 4
Roll up as you would a swiss roll.
  5. 5
Either cut in half to make smaller or for a party piece tie 3 rolls (either halved or whole) together with a ribbon and serve.

A fun, easy treat! I thought they looked a little boring once they were rolled up since you couldn't see the sprinkles, so I dabbed a little Nutella on each end and dipped them in more sprinkles for some color.

mmmmm...I needed a Nutella fix and this was just the deal! I did have it with sprinkles and loved the little crunch. I know I would like it without them too. I loved the rolled up effect! Thanks you Jen T!!!! I know I will be having this again and again!

Yum, Jen, these are great. Both my girls loved their sandwich surprise at our 'Mothers Day Picnic' and so did Dave. Thanks for posting, the Nutella is a great idea and I will make these often.
