This is super easy Hungarian Transylvanian comfort food. Cheap, easy, and delicious. Serve this with fried eggs or sausage for a nice meal.

I love creamed peas, but never had them with eggs. I was adventerous and served it with a fried egg for dinner and it makes a good combination. The paprika really perks up the flavor. Made for Alphabet Soup Game. Thanks for introducing me to a new way of eating eggs.

Very, very nice. I made this to go with some salmon for lunch. I skipped the sauteing in oil part and softened the onion with a bit of water and when it was almost gone I added the peas and water called for in the recipe and used fat free evaporated milk then carried on as directed. The paprika makes a grand colored sauce for the peas and onions. This is a very easy and simple recipe and it would go very well with so many things. The quantities given work well and the entire thing took me about 15 mins as I think that frozen peas pretty much just need to be defrosted and cooked for about a min. This is a good version of creamed peas.
