I really enjoy this recipe, definately not for those wanting to watch their calories
I do this entirely on the stove top by returning the porkchops to the sauce, cover and simmer for 20-30 minutes. I always forget the tomato sauce but it still turns out GREAT. Thanks for a great recipe.

Very tasty recipe. I ended up making this for my birthday and everyone loved it. Wonderful with stuffing and mashed potatoes. I did not add the tomato sauce. Thanks!

Yum! Yum! Yum! This tastes a bit like a much better version of the old pork chops in mushroom soup everyone used to love. I made a few alterations. I brined the pork chops before cooking. I replaced the whipping cream with evaporated milk to reduce the fat and calories. I used less bacon than called for and think next time I would leave it out. I cooked them for 25 minutes and would cut that back to about 20 next time since we like our pork with a tiny bit of pink. The chops were moist and tender and the topping was really delicious. The "gravy" was great with mashed potatoes. This one is definitely a keeper!

Mmmmmm, this was SO good! That gravy is delicious! I'm so glad I typed in a search for recipes using both whipping cream and pork chops!! I used canned mushrooms instead of fresh, and salsa because I didn't want to open a tin of tomato sauce for just 2 tbsps. Served with macaroni as opposed to rice or potatoes. Looks-wise, the other sides would have been better, but we loved it with the pasta too.
