Chicken Wings With Honey-Soy Garlic Glaze

I made these many times in the past for parties, there is never any left, and I always get asked for the recipe! If you are serving this for a get together I suggest to double the recipe to make 40 wings. Plan ahead the wings have to marinate for 24 hours. Make certain to have lots of napkins when you serve these!

SERVES 8 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
In a large bowl mix together the first 8 ingredients.
  2. 2
Stir in the chicken wings; toss to coat.
  3. 3
Cover and refrigerate for 24 hours.
  4. 4
When ready to bake, set oven to 400 degrees.
  5. 5
Arrange the wings on a baking sheet/s.
  6. 6
Pour the marinade into a small saucepan.
  7. 7
Bake the wings for about 50-60 minutes, turning and basting with the marinade occasionally.
  8. 8
Arrange the cooked wings on a platter.
  9. 9
    Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  10. 10
Boil the reserved marinade until slightly thickened (about 6 minutes).
  11. 11
Serve the wings with the boiled marinade as a dipping sauce.
  12. 12
    Delicious!

These are some great tasty, sticky wings!! I have made a couple times and decided to use reduced salt soy sauce or tamari soy sauce. Thanks for a great recipe!!

These were a huge hit this weekend! I did whole wings and drumsticks. I cooked them on the grill, of course, using indirect heat, and mesquite for smoke. After they came off the grill and were still sticky, I hit them again with some Tony's. Apparently the wings weren't done though, because they simply flew off the plate ;0). I will be making these again. Thanks for posting.
