Easy Spicy Baked Cajun Shrimp

Recipe #155745 | 1¼ hours | 1 hour prep | add private note

Whenever I make this for friends I usually triple the recipe, everyone fights over the last shrimp lol! Serve this with a long crusty baguette and lemon wedges. Plan ahead the shrimp needs to marinate for 1 hour. The Best Creole/Cajun Seasoning Mix works great for this!

SERVES 6 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
    Butter a 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
  2. 2
In a bowl combine the oil, Cajun seasoning, lemon juice, parsley, honey and soy sauce.
  3. 3
Pour over the shrimp and toss to coat; cover and chill for 1 hour.
  4. 4
    Set oven to 450°F.
  5. 5
Bake the shrimp in the sauce/marinade for about 10 minutes, or until the shrimp are cooked through.

This was ssooooo good. I halved the recipe as it was just my mom and I, but shouldn't have. I think we could have eaten the whole thing. Very simple to make. Just the right amount of spice. I didn't have the cayenne, but threw in a dash of crushed red pepper. Yum. Thanks Kitten!!
