I just used this sauce over penne noodles, and found it quite bland and fatty. Next time I'd use the tortellini and some garlic and italian herbs...It really was a heart attack on a plate though:P

I love rose sauce. Sometimes I ask for it in italian restaurants...nice to know there's a recipe here on zaar to make at home. I made this for my 10 yo daughter and her girlfriend for lunch. They loved it and even had 2nds! I did make a slight change and added about 3 tbs of parmesan into the sauce as well as 1 clove of pressed garlic.
