This is my family's favorite pot roast. What could be better? Easy peasy to make and the whole family cleans their plates! note two of us do not like mushrooms at all, and we love this, I promise!

Excellent and easy to make pot roast! A great recipe for busy days. I used Homemade Dry Onion Soup Mix and added 1 tablespoon beef soup base mix to replace the beef and onion soup mix. Served it with buttered egg noodles, tossed green salad, and crusty bakery rolls. Served with Apple Crisp for dessert. Definitely a keeper and filed in my favorite recipe binder.

This pot roast really did fall apart as it was so tender but very tasty, and I will definitely use this again when I need a great pot roast recipe!
