please consult your vet before changing your pets diet. This recipe origionally called for 1 tbsp of garlic powder. garlic is OK in small amounts but consult your vet before adding garlic to your pets diet. the serving amount is just a guess

    Place chicken livers and liquid in blender, liquify.

    Add egg, mix a minute more.

    Pour into bowl.
  4. 4
    Add flour and corn meal.

    Mix.

    Spray jelly roll pan with pam.
  7. 7
    Pour mixture into pan.
  8. 8
    Bake 15 minutes in 400 degree hot oven.

    Cut into small squares while still warm. Keep in freezer to prevent spoilage.

I wasn't sure what size jelly roll pan to use, but mine turned out thicker than the ones pictured. The texture is like a really dry cake, not like a dog biscuit. I thought they'd be more like a biscuit....maybe they would have been if I'd used a larger pan. My dogs will eat them, but they kind of look at me funny when I give them one. Made for Cookbook tag!

    Wow! these puff up while they cook!! Yuck! these sure smell while they cook!! I have two doggies and these where their first choice out of our treat tasting day. They wanted me to give this a 10 star rating, because it tasted so good. Both had big smiles. I did get 24 huge treats out of this recipe. Made for "My 3 chef's" 2008
