Wow, this turned out so wonderful! I had been having such bad luck with my old standby oatmeal recipe I had quit using my bread machine for awhile. This had made a fantastic loaf, and HUGE! I think that I will follow another poster's comment and cut back to 2 tsp of yeast next time. Thanks!

Definitely a staple for anyone using a bread machine. I used this recipe on a whim to make sure my new bread maker was working to my satisfaction, and the smell permeated my entire home! I did however change the flour to the following with great sucess, 2 cups white unbleached flour, 1 1/4 wheat flour. Bake this recipe today!!!

Great Bread, I made axactly as directed. It rose to the top of my Bread machine and the smell was wonderful. Up there with the best bread recipes I have tried. I toasted it for breakfast this morning and it is so yummy. A definite keeper, thanks for posting!

Gorgeous bread, great texture and wonderful taste. Very easy and simple. I have to say I was a little skeptical when I did not see eggs among the ingredients but after looking at Bev's gorgeous picture I decided to give it a try. I am so happy I did it. I used warm water and quick cooking oats, not the instant, though. Best bread I have made so far. It rose to the top of the pan.
