I made these with my 11 year old daughter and her friend. I only had one colour of coloured sugar so I tried jello(which was OK but the actual sugar was better). It was fun to make these and they turned out really well. Thanks for the recipe.

These are totally awesome! Makes quite a nice big batch. I did have a tiny problem getting the sugar to stick after refridgerating, but moistend them with a tiny bit of water and it was fine after that. Tasty!

These are the coolest ccokies that I've made in a long time! I made them to include in my Xmas cookies this year . I used red sugar, green sugar and then a mix of red/green sugar. These cookies look fancy and festive, yet they are SOOOO easy! I'll be making these for many holidays/occasions and use colored sugar to coordinate. Thanx so much for posting this recipe!
