I made cabbage rolls for dinner last night and I wanted a nice dessert as an addition. This was perfect. I didn't have self rising flour so I add baking powder to my regular flour. What a wonderful taste, not too sweet. Thanks so much Ann for posting this lovely dish. Deb

I loved this cobbler. It was so tasty. We put cool whip on top and it tasted so good. My husband thought it was too chewy. We cooked it like 10 minutes longer because it looked really liquidy in the oven still. I think this over cooked it because when it cooled down, it set really fast and this made it chewy. But I still really liked it

I used 1/4 cup butter and I drained off about 1/3 of the juice in the peaches. Consistancy was very good, flavor was good, I just prefer that my cobbler have more crust/dough on top of it than this one did. One more hint, if you have all purpose flour instead of self rising, add 1 teaspoon baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon salt and it will turn out just fine.

Excellent flavor. I doubled the recipe for company - next time I will decrease the unsalted butter by half (a good 1/4 cup floated on top after baking and did not seem to be soaking in. No size of peach can is listed - I used two 29-oz cans but will drain off a bit of juice next time as it boiled over my pan. I added 2 tsp. almond extract for extra flavor. This recipe is easy to make and my company loved it!
