Take my advice, make lots of this dip. The recipe may say that it is for 4 servings, but I have seen sophisticated friends turn barbaric over a bowl of this stuff. It's very sweet and goes great with tart apples.

Directions

  1. 1
    Mix above ingredients.
  2. 2

Thanks for posting. This is the recipe that I used to carry around in my brain and then it got lost in cold storage! I am going to try this using Splenda and Splenda Brown sugar substitutes and cut the sugar to 1/4 c. + 2 T. brown and 3 T. white sugar. My DH was recently diagnosed with Type 2 DM and LOVES his apples and caramel dip.

This is very easy to prepare but I did find it a little sweet, so next time I will cut down on the sugar a little. Thanks for the recipe.

I love this recipe; it's my favorite fruit dip by far. I have to confess, I posted it too, but it hasn't come up yet. Great minds think alike! Guests, whether adult or child, invariably think this is delicious. I'm glad to know you like it too, Mirj! Chilling for a few hours before serving works well.
