Delish Sweet Potato "fries" Low Fat

This is a very simple and yummy way to get even the fussiest eater to enjoy the sweet potato.

SERVES 4 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

    Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. 2
    Quarter the potatoes and cut into 1/4 inch thick strips, too thin -- they will burn!
  3. 3
    Spread potatoes on a lightly oiled or sprayed baking sheet, sprinkle with oil and seasoning and toss to coat.
  4. 4
    Bake in the lower 1/3 of the oven for 30 minutes stirring occasionally.
  5. 5
    Season with salt, if desired.

Great sweet potato fries! They're a nice change from regular potatoes. I used Cajun Seasoning Mix for the cajun seasoning. Made for ZWT Family Picks

    Made for ZWT4...These were awesome. The kids liked these better than french fries any day.

    Wonderful spuds! I added in a bit of brown sugar to try and appeal to my kids. It worked on one of them! Thanks Mama!

    Really good....we did these on the grill on a cookie sheet. Next time I think I will make larger wedges out of the potatoes. Thanks!
