RECIPE BY: Elmotoo

Found for the World Tour 2005, this looks like something dh would love! A Mexican recipe, it has been called ' "funeral coffee" because it is always served at the velorios - all-night wakes - with large trays of sweet rolls.'

I loved this, really nice. It was a fantastic way to start a damp dreary rainy day! I will be making this again. ZWT3

Now this is what coffee should taste like! I just tried this for my morning coffee today. It was so easy to make, although I halved the recipe to make only 2 cups of coffee. I used brown sugar instead of piloncillo. Thanks for this super-yummy recipe!

This is a great, easy coffee recipe...works wonders for me because we are "between" coffee makers and this makes a nice rich brew without the equipment. I use more coffee (about 5 teaspoons)and usually more cinnamon, and less sugar ( I think it works well adjusting it to personal taste)...because of the sweetness of this blend I am able to drink it black...even iced - ( I'm usually a cream user!!!) Wonderful for after dinner...a dessert all by itself! Discovered during ZWT3 and now a keeper for constant use!!! Thank you Elmotoo!!!
