Excellent! I omitted the vanilla, used soymilk, six cubes of ice and a tablespoon of flaxmeal to make this delicious drink. I shared with my toddler, and he loved it! The ice thickened the banana milk and moved it into smoothie staus. This is now in regular rotation at our house. My toddler can't get enough of it!

My 9 yr old daughter thinks this is awsome. She definely whats me to make it again. Perfect way to get a little extra fruit into a childs diet. Super simple to throw together with a magic bullet blender.

Amis, thanks so much for posting this little gem of a recipe. I used to make this a lot and drink it before racing out the door in the morning. You’ve reminded me to make it again! Amazing how easily recipes can drop out of your routine and thereby out of your life! I make mine with soy milk and add about ½ tablespoon of wheatgerm, which adds a little texture and heaps more nutrition! I find I really don’t need the vanilla at all. A nice touch, but I don’t need it. Here’s me being heroic in the name of ‘healthiness’ and it’s probably not even bad for you! Great starter drink and it would taste wonderful on cereal!

This was great! I my husband is allergic to milk so I made it with soy milk for him. I just put bananas in the freezer to use next time!
