One of the principal crops of Africa is peanuts. They are nutritious and hardy, making them a first-rate survival food. In this recipe peanuts and highly prized honey are combined to make a sweet treat.

These were good but I think they would have been better with less powder milk in them. I am going to try making again but with only 1/2 cup next time. Made for ZWT 4

Great!!! I used chunky style peanut butter and the powdered milk. Can't believe how sweet it is without sugar!!! Made for ZWT4.

This was so good! I have had to make it a couple of times already at my DH's insistence! I made these with powdered milk – got to get calcium in when I can. I'm sure they will be just as good with toasted wheat germ.

These are really neat. I loved the differnt texture. That being said... don't sub in Cream of Wheat for wheat germ! I don't think it really worked. I also found out I didn't have the coconut when I was ready to start rolling. So these ones are doing the "full monty". I will make this again and make sure I have all the CORRECT ingredients on hand. Even with my errors, they still turned out to be worthy of 5 stars. I can't wait to try them when I don't mess them up!
